Leading Stoke based Caterer applies Military Style!
What happens when three historic regiments of Her Majesty's Armed Forces combine?.... You guessed it, they have a major party to celebrate and rekindle memories of a proud heritage!
That's exactly what happened in September 2007 when three proud units, The 22nd Cheshire Regiment, The Staffordshire Regiment, and The Worcester and Sherwood Foresters officially merged to form the new Mercian Regiment.
HRH Prince Charles saw the unit officially established at a ceremony at Tamworth Castle in Staffordshire and presented service medals and commendations to members of the newly combined unit.
It was an honour for Quality Buffets, a leading catering company, based in Stoke-on-Trent, to be chosen as the catering company to provide a hot and cold buffet for 500 invited guests.
Working within a fabulous marquee setting it was an ideal opportunity for the Quality team to put into commission a brand new range of hot food catering equipment and facilities.
It certainly did its job as guests were lavish in their praise on the quality of the food. Peter Dykes, the owner of Quality Buffets, commented "It is a real honour for us to have been chosen as caterers for this event. It was a fabulous occasion, and great for us to be associated with an event of such magnitude".
In fact, this was not the first time Quality Buffets have had the honour of catering for royalty. They also catered for HRH The Prince Of Wales four years ago at the grand opening of the Congleton Museum.
